APPLE ACROBATS

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

I found these apples at Central Market and had never heard of the variety - Pacific Rose. They are a nice rosy color and I had to paint them. They were fun to paint and good to eat! They are crisp, sweet and juicy. It was a treat!

  3. Linda, we get Pacific Rose here and these really show that pinky rose tone. You also got the firmness and solid shapes just right. nice job-mary

  4. Linda,
I like the interesting composition in this painting. I did buy some at the grocery store several months ago and you captured these apples perfectly! I enjoy the energy in your paint application!

  5. Linda,
I like the bright red of the apples against the light green background. Look good enough to eat.
Good to see you at Prairie Fest today. Next time you come paint with us.
