This is another submission to Bill Guffy's Virtual Paintout. It is unclear where in Hong Kong this is located. These small houses were located at the end of a street - or ally. The abstract quality attacted me.

HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!

  3. The abstractness makes it a simple and lovable composition, specially because, you havent used any contrast color for the back ground.

  5. The abstract! Yes! I love that everything is broken down to painterly elements, yet there is no conflict between all that and the representational aspect.

    Well done.

  7. Linda, this is very appealing. The soft palette is very easy to enjoy and has a comforting feel. The abstraction of the buildings is wonderful and I love the touch of blue on the top of the middle square/building. It's a nice touch being so close to the orange rooftop.
