FACE No. 22

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

I found this man's expression very interesting. It wasn't as difficult to tackle as I had thought. However, I am still having problems with eyes and noses! I should pull out one of my anatomy books and study. The more I learn, the more I realize how much there is to learn. It goes on and on! It's a good thing I enjoy the journey!

  1. I bet you'll be a master at portraits by the time this is all over. I recognize that expression my great grandfather always had that expression because he refused to wear his teeth:)

  3. Capter le regard... Tu l'as magnifiquement fait ma chère Linda...
Il a une bouille étonnante cet homme-là...
Il a une âme que tu as su lui restituer...
    Bravo! Beau travail.
    Gros bisous.

  5. Linda, I think this is my favorite of your faces series so far! He has a really interesting expression for sure. The colors of his flesh tones and hair are super!

  6. Cheers to you for taking on all these portraits. I have been traveling most of the summer and am trying to catch up with the blogs now.

I give you so much credit for tackling this project; something I have needed to do myself, but to date I have not taken the plunge.

    Cannot wait to see more.
