Linda Popple - Paintings in Oil
Linda! The translucency of the limes are fantastic :) Well Done!
Love your dramatic shadows!
Tout aussi bons que jolis... sont vos citrons verts. Bisous
has an old world feeling to it!
I like the cut limes, Linda. They add a lot of interest to your composition, the dark rind set against the lighter background and translucency of the flesh. Very nice!
Linda, I LOVE what you've been doing lately! They look so strong...wonderful shape and colour.
It's Margarita time!!!
Wonderful....Your style pairs so well with the chunky shapes of the cut limes. Lovely painting!
Terrific painting, Linda! Wonderful drama and contrast between light and shadow, great use of a limited palette and great composition. It's clear that you were aware of creating a "whole" painting. The struggles are worth it!
Love your composition and range of values in this one - it's very dramatic!
Great painting, Linda. The composition and and values really lead you into the painting. I too, am enjoying the world of art blogs, so many talented painters out there! I will look forward to seeing more of your paintings.
Linda,I have been a big fan and love your artwork. I really enjoyed your blog posts on the Carol Marine workshop. It is fun to see your work jump that that next level. Great job and you are one of my favorites to check on every day.
Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and leaving a comment! I read and appreciate each and every one!!
