POSTCARD FROM PARIS

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

Kelley MacDonald took a fantastic photo of Paris and invited anyone who was interested to paint it. It was such a good photograph that I just had to take part in her invitation. Thank you, Kelley!!

  3. Linda, I really love how you handled this. I have painted several of Tour Eiffel and I know it is not an easy subject.

I love how it really shows the enormous size of the structure and especially how you captured the lacy quality in the tower.

  5. Linda, Just love how you painted this! Really wonderful how the darker tower pops against the sky. Really like the loose treatment of the bottom so that the tower is the focal point. Magnifique!!
