HOLY COW! FOR KAY WYNE

Kay's moleskin theme is "HOLY COW!" and I painted a few cow studies for practice and in one word they were pitiful!  So, in keeping with her theme (sort of!), I decided to paint something associated with cows.  Cows produce wonderful milk, and from cream, butter.  YUM!  For Kay, two plates of butter with a silver butter knife waiting to spread this treat on a slice of bread.

  1. That's a wonderful Moleskin entry, Linda! I can't decided which painting I like more, but you've definitely nailed the reflections on / of the knife perfectly!

  2. HOLY COW! Love the creative spin on this one and I do love your Butter series! Leave it to you to make it work. I can only hope I will be that wise in...say...two days...or so.

  3. Luscious butter, Linda! Good idea for a theme, for what does not go better with butter? Think about that!

  5. This is such a clever theme! Love everything about it -- and love the title also. Everything is better with butter! Great job, Linda P!

  6. Very Clever. Have you ever seen the butter cow that they display at the Iowa State Fair?
