I thought it was time to paint a different subject and decided that a still life would be fun.  Because we are in the process of moving, my studio is partially packed so setting up a still life would be difficult so I looked for a photo to use.  I found one at the Wet Canvas site.  I'm not taking all my studio equipment to our apartment as it is very small.  I'm sure that when we are moved in to our house, setting up a still life will be especially fun. In the meantime, photographs will be a great source.

  2. I like the grays you've created. They really make the reds pop.
    Good look with the move!

  3. just love those reds and greens together. I'm envious of your new studio space! Will we get to see photos? The recipe reminds me how much my Mother loved radish sandwiches. She made them just the same way, only on "regular" bread.

  4. Fun post, though I'm not a fan of radish sandwiches. However your radish PAINTING is spectacular. I know I said it before Linda, but you just keep getting better and better. Your palette and brushwork, seeing your art evolve is very exciting!!
