COLORS ON PEGS

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

This painting was done from another photograph taken in New York City. These clothes were hanging on pegs in a store window and just called me to take a photograph. I'm glad I did. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the photographs I took while in NYC.

  1. You have a wonderful eye!!

This almost looks like an abstract, but not really... much better

  2. An example to show how you can transform a simple subject in to a piece of art! Beautiful!

  3. This is great, Linda! It leads one to wonder who might buy such colors and garments, which gives an interesting potential for story.

  6. Very nice. It does have a very abstract quality--slashes of color on a neutral ground. I like it a lot!
