PERSIMMONS

6X6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

These were really fun to paint. I've never tried painting persimmons. I saw them in Central Market and decided to give them a try. I added a mirror to the right of the setup to add a bit more light in that direction. The stronger light was on the left. I think I will be painting more of these beautiful fruits and play more with lighting.

  2. Linda, Love the gorgeous colors in these persimmons. Also, the mirror idea is great and I will have to try. I am hoping Santa brings me the still life set up that he brought Carol Marine- on the tripod! So many wonderful fruits that you have painted. Fun to see.
