6x6 Oil on Gessobord in Frame
This is a painting I did last Fall from a photograph I took at the home of Thomas Wolfe in Asheville, NC. My sister, Julie, and I take a little trip each year when the hot temperatures of summer have cooled and the trees are full of color. We laugh, get lost, eat, get lost, laugh some more, get lost, and see all the sights - those planned and those not planned. It's a trip we both look forward to each year.
The frame is made by Phil, my wonderful husband.
I love this little painting - and wow, what a great husband for making such a beautiful frame!
ReplyDeleteThank you from both of us!
ReplyDeleteI love this, too. So evocative, as if the wind is blowing the curtains. My husband makes my frames, too -- we are lucky women!
