I like the cut limes, Linda. They add a lot of interest to your composition, the dark rind set against the lighter background and translucency of the flesh. Very nice!
Terrific painting, Linda! Wonderful drama and contrast between light and shadow, great use of a limited palette and great composition. It's clear that you were aware of creating a "whole" painting. The struggles are worth it!
Great painting, Linda. The composition and and values really lead you into the painting. I too, am enjoying the world of art blogs, so many talented painters out there! I will look forward to seeing more of your paintings.
I have been a big fan and love your artwork. I really enjoyed your blog posts on the Carol Marine workshop. It is fun to see your work jump that that next level. Great job and you are one of my favorites to check on every day.
