This week's challenge at Daily Paintworks was submitted by Claudia Hammer, the Hand Challenge. I wanted to keep it loose, but I find that difficult when painting 3"x3" so I think I fussed with these hands a bit too much. I'm still satisfied with how they turned out. I may do this again on a larger support. It was a great learning tool!
Great jobs on the hands.
ReplyDeleteI love this...what a great challenge!!! You did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a challenge, Linda! I find painting hands difficult. You did a wonderful job on them!!
ReplyDeleteReally excellent. This is really a 3" x 3"? wow
ReplyDeleteIn explanation, the whole support is 6x6 but each hand is on 3x3 because the support is divided into 4 squares. I guess I should have made that clearer!! :-)
DeleteAmazing job on this challenge! You got just the right amount information into those 3x3 squares. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love this ... each one looks as if its much larger, hard to believe each hand is only 3 x 3. .... You've done an excellent job on the hands, they really make a statement all on one canvas.
ReplyDeletefantastic job with these hands---and I am glad you explained about the size...!
ReplyDeleteFabulous! You did a great job. I need to try this.
ReplyDeleteVery Sargent-like, you did an amazing job!
