If you are not familiar with Terry Miura's work, please take a look at his blog.  He has posted a very interesting challenge with some great tips on painting and simplifying a cityscape.  I did two paintings.  Both were really fun and I learned a great deal.  If you are up for another challenge this one is a really good one!

This is painted from a photograph found in Behind the Scenes hosted by Celeste Bergin. Each month there are three photographs posted and the artist can choose which to paint. There are always beautiful photos at this site, but this is the first time I've painted this challenge. I painted on a larger support, which I am learning to like. I can play with the paint more and I find that a real joy.
