Hellooooo Monday! I hope y'all had a good week-end. Mine was lots of fun. It began with an amazing Harry Connick, Jr. concert. If you ever have the opportunity to see him .... well, you simply must! There was good food and wine, a little shopping, and a movie, Dallas Buyers Club, which was really good. We had fantastic weather here in Texas. Yep, it was a good week-end.
And here is Joe No. 5. He is colorful and fun. I am really enjoying Joe and his different personalities!
Linda this is so fun watching your imagination unleash itself on Joe! You've gone all Peter Max on him this time! Where in Texas do you live? I'm heading down to Austin again in a couple weeks to visit my son and I am loving that city!
ReplyDeleteYour weekend sounded fun and you sound full of fun too. It shows in this portrait. I like the boldness of line, color and his direct gaze... Looking right at me saying I should try to have more fun, too!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terri and Julie!
ReplyDeleteVery cool, very bold and creative.
Gros bisous à vous.
Hello my dear Linda, A new approach to painting with this ... Joe I especially like how to place the shadows with this blue. I am very happy that you enjoy a wonderful weekend. If by chance you had too much sun and heat ... just a small package and you send it to me! ♥ Big kisses to you
Deleteyes, this Joe has a definite "folk" quality...love it! I'll try to catch Harrry in the future...sounds like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteSo colourful and fun .........he's still Joe though!
ReplyDeleteLove how graphic Joe is becoming! It's really interesting to watch you do all these versions!
