4x4 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord
"Vince “ The Organizer” is an adjunct member of the notorious Hilton Head Gang. He has tried to disassociate himself from the group but once a Hilton Head Gang member...always a Hilton Head Gang member. It is like the Hotel California...you can check in any time you want...but you can never leave...hahahahahahahahaha... "

Thank you, Maria!!
This is the last of our gang. All are now painted. I wanted to try the Zorn palette and I thought this would be a good time to give it a go. If you are not familiar with Anders Zorn, he was one of the premier portrait painters of his day. His work is amazing! To see a color chart of Zorn's limited palette take a look at Aaron Westerberg's website. Zorn's palette consisted of Cad Red, Yellow Ochre, Titanium White, and Ivory Black. With only these four paints a beautiful array of colors can be created.
