This is another submission to Bill Guffy's Virtual Paintout. It is unclear where in Hong Kong this is located. These small houses were located at the end of a street - or ally. The abstract quality attacted me.
HAVE A FANTASTIC WEEKEND!!
I love the composition and colors here, Linda. The abstract qualities are very appealing. Terrific!
ReplyDeleteI love abstraction and this is really nice. I like the subtle variations in color. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteThe abstractness makes it a simple and lovable composition, specially because, you havent used any contrast color for the back ground.
ReplyDeleteoh nice simplified abstracted forms here ! so nice!
ReplyDeleteThe abstract! Yes! I love that everything is broken down to painterly elements, yet there is no conflict between all that and the representational aspect.
ReplyDeleteWell done.
Really terrific Abstract feel, Linda! I also love the muted palette with the judicious touches of red and orange.
ReplyDeleteLinda, this is very appealing. The soft palette is very easy to enjoy and has a comforting feel. The abstraction of the buildings is wonderful and I love the touch of blue on the top of the middle square/building. It's a nice touch being so close to the orange rooftop.
ReplyDeleteI do like the abstraction of it.
ReplyDeleteI like the abstract quality too, and the harmonious colors. Very nice!!!
