It was a warm, sunny morning in Central Park and I spotted these three people enjoying the sun and each other's company. As you can probably tell, I loved being in New York City with all the interesting places and people. :-)

  2. I really like the palette in this painting. The red handbag is a nice spot of color.

  3. Don't you wonder whether they know each other or whether they just all three happen to be sitting together???

  6. Another great composition and so well done. I love the cropping of the bench and the blast of orange and red on the last figure. Great use of color. And thank you so much for your words of encouragement, my new beginning isn't the fun i thought it would be. we'll see. enjoy the weekend.

  7. Talk about simplified shapes! It's perfect! No excess detail, just clean patches of color. Thanks for the reminder!
