I love your sensitive brush strokes on the woman studying the painting. You have managed to make her somehow MORE expressive from the back than if we were viewing her from the front looking at the painting. Wow! Joan
I find intriguing the atmosphere in this painting... the solitude of the woman contemplating an other woman of the past, art and life entwined. Beautiful and full of meaning!
Beautiful, Linda. I love the way it seems so delicate.

The Met is a wonderful place... Both to learn about art and cultures... but to watch people!!
ReplyDeleteLove your painting!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful and Sensitive painting Linda! I love the quiet contemplative mood you achieved. You can almost hear this lady thinking. :D
ReplyDeleteI find this very fun... is the real person looking at the painting, or it the person in the painting looking at the museum goer?
ReplyDeleteWow, beautiful. Love the pose and the way she is contemplating the painting.
