6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord
This painting was done from another photograph taken in New York City. These clothes were hanging on pegs in a store window and just called me to take a photograph. I'm glad I did. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the photographs I took while in NYC.
You have a wonderful eye!!
ReplyDeleteThis almost looks like an abstract, but not really... much better
An example to show how you can transform a simple subject in to a piece of art! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is great, Linda! It leads one to wonder who might buy such colors and garments, which gives an interesting potential for story.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for all your visits and encouraging comments on my blog. They (and you) are much appreciated!
Linda - this rocks! This is my favourite painting of yours yet. Very dynamic.
ReplyDeleteThis is great. Simplified but obvious what is is!
ReplyDeleteVery nice. It does have a very abstract quality--slashes of color on a neutral ground. I like it a lot!
ReplyDeleteExpressive - I really like this, it's very interesting to me.
