OMG!! I learned SO MUCH today!! When I return home I am going to practice, practice, practice on glass and flowers - and, yes, white. With any one of these subjects I could spend weeks on just one. I did photograph my paintings today, but will not post them (a lot of work needs to be done to improve them).
I can not stress enough how good Carol is, not only as an artist, but an incredible teacher. This is my second workshop with her and I would like to take another one in the furture. There is so much information that she shares and I have so much to learn. One thing that has stuck with me is ................. you guessed it! SQUINT!!!
Day Three is metal. Now that is going to be a challenge!!
Can't wait to see what all you've done!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more...Carol is a GREAT teacher. I want to take her advanced class so much! Looks like it's quite challenging.
METAL! (shriek) I wish I was there! I took a class from her last fall and learned a ton. Lucky you going twice : )
ReplyDeleteWow... lucky you!
ReplyDeleteJe suis votre blog pas à pas et hum, je suis un peu avec vous, parmi vous... Bon travail et bonne continuation.
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to read your posts and try to experience the workshop vicariously . . . I could use a refresher course! Sounds like you're having so much fun working hard!
ReplyDeletethanks for posting these photos and info--very cool! I am excited for you...(learning so much!)
ReplyDeleteSounds fabulous, can't wait to see your works.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the photos. It was like being a fly on the wall of one of Carol's worshops. I would have loved to have taken it along with you. Looking forward to seeing the new work.
