This was painted for Rookie Painter's September challenge. I wanted to express the warm and cool colors I saw in these beautiful onions. This was really fun to paint and I am considering doing a series of onions. Something to think about. :-)
ENJOY YOUR WEEK-END!!
Really wonderful warm and cool temperature shifts here. Just love the way you painted the onion skin. That is tough to do well and you nailed it. I like the idea of an onion series!!

ReplyDeleteReally beautiful, Linda! Gorgeous colors in the onions ranging from yellows to purples. Nice lost edges. I really like this one!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and rich! The thumbnail caught my eye immediately. Love the gray purples you work into the spheres. A series would be a great thing to do!
