10x8 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

This was painted for the Rookie Painter challenge and a challenge it was!  However I am pleased with how it came out.  Having a cloth draped on a shelf makes a very nice painting.

This was painted for Rookie Painter's challenge.  I had fun using a new color ..... Persian Rose by Williamsburg.  It's a beautiful color and I love having a new tube of paint to play with.  Jen's photograph of this candy was perfect to use with Persian Rose.  To view Rookie Painter and see more paintings click HERE.

This was painted for Rookie Painter's September challenge.  I wanted to express the warm and cool colors I saw in these beautiful onions.  This was really fun to paint and I am considering doing a series of onions.  Something to think about. :-)

This is my submission for Rookie Painter. Take a minute and look at the other submissions. I haven't painted or drawn figures for quite a while so this was really a challenge! Good for a stretch!!

This is my submission to Rookie Painter. This painting was fun and another exercise in values. The photograph isn't the best - I may try again to get a better photograph and replace this one. We'll see. Take a few minutes and visit Rookie Painter and see some creative works.
