VALUE STUDY


10x8 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord
This was painted for the Rookie Painter challenge and a challenge it was!  However I am pleased with how it came out.  Having a cloth draped on a shelf makes a very nice painting.

    It certainly does Linda. The variety in values, and constant light/dark pattern really make it work- nice job!

    Wow- this was a tough challenge and you did an amazing job. Love the light and shadow falling on that cloth. Look at those edges:)

    So well done, Linda. Folded cloth is not always the easiest to paint, but you got all the shadows and values spot on!
