FORT WORTH ROOFTOP

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

This was painted last week while outside on a beautiful day. The house is an old white house with gingerbread trim. I chose to paint a portion of the roof with its interesting angles. Surrounding this house is a neighborhood full of old homes and large trees. I feel sure I will visit it again.

  1. Very cool abstract qualities in this one Linda! There's something mysteriously compelling about this painting. I admire that you chose an unusual composition and really made it work!!

  2. Your paintings often have a wonderful abstract quality--it is something I really like about them and this one in particular.
