MORE 10 MINUTE PAINTINGS

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

I've been doing quite a few of these 10 minute paintings. They are not only a good learning tool, but they are fun. I haven't photographed my other ones, but when I do I will post them. These paintings are of Smuckers strawberry jelly jar. As you can see in the first one I tried to put in too much detail, but by the last one all detail is gone. Those 10 minutes fly by!!

    Gros bisous

  8. Catching up with visiting blogs this morning . . . you've been working hard! Really like these pudgy jelly jars and your free brush strokes. Love your tomato exercises (you're getting so good!) and Hanging Laundry---love the colors, strokes, sense of space and how simple and abstract it is.

  9. Great series! I actually like the fourth one. Love the angles. It's very interesting to see how the subject evolved.

P.S. Thanks for you kind comment on my blog.
