VINCE "THE ORGANIZER" FAZIO

4x4 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

"Vince “ The Organizer” is an adjunct member of the notorious Hilton Head Gang.  He has tried to disassociate himself from the group but once a Hilton Head Gang member...always a Hilton Head Gang member.  It is like the Hotel California...you can check in any time you want...but you can never leave...hahahahahahahahaha... Thank you, Maria!!

This is the last of our gang.  All are now painted.  I wanted to try the Zorn palette and I thought this would be a good time to give it a go.  If you are not familiar with Anders Zorn, he was one of the premier portrait painters of his day.  His work is amazing!  To see a color chart of Zorn's limited palette take a look at Aaron Westerberg's website.  Zorn's palette consisted of Cad Red, Yellow Ochre, Titanium White, and Ivory Black.  With only these four paints a beautiful array of colors can be created.
