WHITE ADMIRAL BUTTERFLY

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

This is my submission to Windows to the Words ART for the May challenge. I wanted to have a butterfly sitting on a paintbrush, but was in kind of a hurry so that just didn't happen. Visit Windows to the Words ART. I think you will be pleased!

  3. Beautiful painting, Linda. I really like your colors of the background and your butterfly. Having it on a paintbrush would have been delightful, but still a great painting!

  4. Love this composition. There is a Butterfly Museum/Garden in Denver. I should head up there!

  5. Lovely! I don't know what I like most--it would be a toss up between the composition and the muted color combinations.

  8. Great color, Linda. I have a butterfly on one of my blogs that I hatched in the house and painted from life. Don't know if that can happen again.
