This was painted for Sharon Hodges' moleskin. Her theme is "Express Yourself" which I do each time I paint. Painting in these moleskins is fun, but a bit stressful. This time my palette fell upside down on Sharon's open book. The page next to my painting has splotches of color and now needs to dry. I apologize, Sharon! I'm a klutz! I hope I get better at this or I'll never be asked to paint in anyone's moleskin again. The moleskins are found at TEXAS MOLESKIN ROUND-UP. You can see some fantastic work there and enjoy following the moleskins!
Oh sweet Linda... I don't think any one would have notice a few spots of paint. If this were my moleskine, I would love the painting and the fact you had a happy little accident on the side.
ReplyDeleteI confess, I don't understand the moleskin project...does the book get mailed from place to place? Does that require then that you use medium that would dry thoroughly in just a few days? Well, however it goes...I like the subject matter and the treatment you employed!
