How many wipe outs can one have before paints and brushes are put away for a loooong time? I don't know, but I have to admit that I came close today. I am having a hard time getting accustomed to my new paints. I will definitely stay with the color palette for the remainder of the 30/30 challenge, but I may change brands. Just something that will work its way out with a little more time and experience.
These make my mouth pucker. I love your color combo.
ReplyDeleteYou may of struggled with this one but I certainly can't tell. This turned out WONDERFUL! I really admire what you are doing here with the limited palette. I'm glad you are going to stick with it.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to be a thousand percent honest, I like posts like this where a good artist admits to having "issues"! Things go wrong for me lots and I, too, have been wondering about my own paint. I don't want to blame materials, and YET. This painting came out nice, despite your "issues"! It has a clean clear quality....like all your work does. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely lemons, Linda! A bit of alliteration there, but this is truly a lovely painting!
