6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord
Beautiful, large naval oranges were piled high at Central Market. I wish I could have brought my paints into the produce department and painted all those oranges. Not being able to do that I bought a few and painted this still life ........ then I ate my set up! Not only are they large, but they are sweet and juicy.
The slice looks very juicy, nice composition!

ReplyDeleteVous êtes une véritable mante religieuse de la peinture dites-moi!!! vous séduisez, puis vous mangez!...

ReplyDeleteInteresting composition- like the piece in the front and the translucent quality you painted there. Really nice. Yum!

ReplyDeleteNice composition and color, Linda. Somehow I missed your County Clare painting, just beautiful with a wonderful impressionistic style.
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, now I'm going to have to go get some oranges:) Thank you for not painting a pastry, oranges are much more forgiving:) This is a beautiful painting, it looks plump and juicy and just so vibrant and beautiful! Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteI,like your cut slice, like a small bark!
