THE BIG ORANGE

6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord

Beautiful, large naval oranges were piled high at Central Market. I wish I could have brought my paints into the produce department and painted all those oranges. Not being able to do that I bought a few and painted this still life ........ then I ate my set up! Not only are they large, but they are sweet and juicy.

  4. Linda,
Interesting composition- like the piece in the front and the translucent quality you painted there. Really nice. Yum!

  5. Nice composition and color, Linda. Somehow I missed your County Clare painting, just beautiful with a wonderful impressionistic style.
