6x6 Oil on Ampersand Gessobord
After admiring Dana Cooper's painting of a ballerina, I decided it would be a good idea to explore the reference photos provided by Wet Canvas. What a treasure trove! Although, I prefer to use my own photographs it isn't always possible to have a photo that is of the subject I want to explore. Because I don't have any close ups of people, I went to Wet Canvas and chose this man to paint. I think he had an interesting appearance and I enjoyed painting him.
cool image! expressive
